Croft House Grant Scheme This scheme provides grants for crofters to improve and maintain the standards of crofter housing, with the aim of attracting and retaining people within the crofting areas of Scotland. Crofting Agricultural Grant Scheme The Crofting Agriculural Grant Scheme (CAGS) provides grants for crofters to make improvements to their crofts and help to sustain their businesses. Funding can be used for: capital projects, construction or improvement of agricultural buildings;and establishing a Common Grazings Committee

Farm Advisory Service Scotland’s Farm Advisory Service (FAS): provide information and resources aimed at increasing the profitability and sustainability of farms and crofts. Grant support, a full programme of events, a subscription service for crofts and a range of articles and publications form the core of this service. Scottish Crofting Federation Scottish Crofting Federation (SCF): engages with agencies and government at local, national and international levels to influence policy on rural development. We are the UK's largest association of small-scale food producers. RSABI Providing emotional, practical and financial support to individuals and their families across the agricultural sector including farming and crofting. NFU Scotland NFU Scotland has 40 regional group offices across the country offering personalised one-to-one support for our members. Visit our website to find the NFUS office nearest to you. Registers of Scotland The Crofting Register is map-based. It shows defined extents of land and property on the ordnance survey map, along with information on the tenant or owner-occupier on the land, and information on the landlord or landowner. Woodland Crofts Supporting lives & livelihoods through managing woodland: to encourage, support and advise existing and prospective woodland crofters. It brings together in one place existing information and guidance on woodland crofts, what they are and how they have come about. SRUC SAC consulting offers business advisory services to support and advise land-based businesses in the rural economy. Courses and training at SRUC provide knowledge, skills and opportunities that help you achieve your goals. Scottish Land Court The Scottish Land Court is a Court of law. The Court’s jurisdiction is set firmly within the context of Scottish farming. It has authority to resolve a range of disputes, including disputes between landlords and tenants, in agriculture and crofting. The Court is based in Edinburgh, but holds hearings throughout Scotland. Highlands & Islands Enterprise We work in a diverse region which extends from Shetland to Argyll, and from the Outer Hebrides to Moray, covering more than half of Scotland’s land mass. We have offices across the region helping communities and businesses to develop and grow. NatureScot NatureScot is Scotland’s nature agency, working to ensure our natural environment is maintained, enhanced and brings us benefits in Scotland. This includes our key habitats, landscapes, and our native species. We seek to inspire people to care about it. NatureScot is a delivery partner for the 'Agri-Environment Climate Scheme', 'Peatland Action' and 'Goose Management Schemes' Lantra Training Lantra can help you get the training, qualifications and skills you need to succeed in the land-based, aquaculture and environmental sector. Lantra provide certified training courses in a wide range of areas, including: health and safety, chainsaw use, brushcutting, ATVs, tractor driving and animal care. Funding for courses also available. Farmstrong Scotland Farmstrong Scotland is an initiative to help farmers, crofters and their families to cope with the ups and downs of farming and crofting by sharing things they can do to look after themselves and the people in their business. It is a peer-to-peer led programme, driven by scientific information and real-life stories, so together we can share, learn and support our wellbeing.
