Crofting Census

Only a week since the Crofting Census forms were issued and already we’ve had over 330 completed online and just over 1,000 hard copy returns. 

Our Convener, Rod Mackenzie has filled in his census form online and said, “the online service is quick and easy to use so I’m really pleased we’re able to offer a more convenient service to crofters.  If anyone has any problems or queries about filling in their forms, please get in touch with us.  The issue and return of the Census, by 31 March 2020, is obligatory under section 40A of the Crofting (Scotland) Act, so we want to make the process as easy and straightforward for crofters as we can.”
