Use this page to find the application or notification form you need.
For most applications, you need to search for the croft or holding first. This helps us show the forms that are relevant to that croft or holding.
Some applications are not linked to a croft or holding. You can find these further down this page.
Before you start
You may need:
- the name of the croft or holding
- the name of the person applying
- any maps or supporting information for your application
The form will tell you exactly what you need to provide.
Search for a croft or holding
Start here if your application is about a specific croft or holding.
What happens after you search
- Select the croft or holding.
- Select the person who is applying.
- Choose the application or notification you want to make.
- Choose how you want to apply.
- Follow the instructions in the online application portal.
If an online option is available, you can fill in the form online or upload a completed PDF.
If you cannot find the croft or holding
Check the spelling and try again.
If you still cannot find it, check the Register of Crofts or contact us before you apply.
Do not choose a different croft or holding to continue.
Applications not linked to a specific croft
Most applications are about a specific croft or holding. The applications below are different and do not start with a croft search.
