Croft House Grant Scheme
This scheme provides grants for crofters to improve and maintain the standards of crofter housing, with the aim of attracting and retaining people within the crofting areas of Scotland.
Crofting Agricultural Grant Scheme
The Crofting Agriculural Grant Scheme (CAGS) provides grants for crofters to make improvements to their crofts and help to sustain their businesses. Funding can be used for: capital projects, construction or improvement of agricultural buildings;and establishing a Common Grazings Committee
Cattle Improvement Scheme

Scotland’s Farm Advisory Service (FAS): provide information and resources aimed at increasing the profitability and sustainability of farms and crofts. Grant support, a full programme of events, a subscription service for crofts and a range of articles and publications form the core of this service.

Registers of Scotland
The Crofting Register is map-based. It shows defined extents of land and property on the ordnance survey map, along with information on the tenant or owner-occupier on the land, and information on the landlord or landowner.

Scottish Land Court
The Scottish Land Court is a Court of law. The Court’s jurisdiction is set firmly within the context of Scottish farming. It has authority to resolve a range of disputes, including disputes between landlords and tenants, in agriculture and crofting. The Court is based in Edinburgh, but holds hearings throughout Scotland.
