The Scottish Government’s Economic Condition of Crofting Survey launched on 18th August
The survey helps build a clear picture of the economic condition of crofting in Scotland. The findings will inform reporting to the Scottish Parliament and provide valuable evidence to support future decisions affecting crofters and crofting communities.
The survey is being carried out by Ipsos, an independent research agency, on behalf of the Scottish Government. Crofters from across Scotland have been chosen at random from the Register of Crofts held by the Crofting Commission to ensure a broad range of crofting experiences are represented.
If you have been chosen, you will receive an email or letter inviting you to complete the survey online. Please keep an eye on your inbox, junk mail folder and post over the coming days in case you have been invited to participate. Participation is voluntary, your data will be processed securely and the results will be anonymised.
Every response matters. It is important that we hear from crofters with a wide range of backgrounds and circumstances. By taking part, you will help build an accurate picture of crofting in Scotland and ensure that future decisions are informed by the experiences of crofters across the country.
The closing date for responses is 27th September.
