Request for updated information since previous request made in December 2023.
1. Internal discussions, notes, correspondence, or policy guidance
concerning the March 2025 amendment to the Crofting Register
related to Croft C5274 (10 Halistra) and Mr and Mrs Toms.
2. Any internal emails or correspondence involving Commission staff or
legal officers that discuss or reflect on:
• The Commission's basis for recording the respondents as co
owners of the croft,
• The use of mapping overlaps in determining ownership interests.
3. Any documents, policies, or internal guidance in force or developed
since 21 December 2023 concerning:
• Ownership registration where a Land Register title partially overlaps
a croft boundary,
• How such overlaps are to be assessed or referred for further
investigation.
4. Any communications with the Crofting Commission since 1 January
2024 relating to Land Court applications SLC/7/25 or SLC/29/25.

Response

Under Regulation 13 of EIR some information was provided, but other information was withheld or was not held by the authority (partial). This is due to an exception under (Regulation 11 – Personal Data).
