Response
Information requested issued with an exemption under section 36(1) of the Act applied to some of the information requested. Under the terms of Section 36(1) of the Act the exemption includes details of requests for legal advice, as well as the advice provided. This exemption explicitly recognises the importance of officials being able to obtain legal advice in confidence.
