Information requested
Request as to how many investigations of misuse and neglect have been carried out since the implementation of the Crofting reform (Scotland) Act 2010
Response
Since the introduction of Crofters Duties legislation in 2010, the Commission have received fifteen reported cases of suspected breach of duties. Of these, 10 related solely to non-residency, 4 to non-residency and non-cultivation and one related to non-cultivation and misuse. All fifteen cases have been investigated by the Commission.
