Common Grazings Committees: Proxy Votes
There may be times when a proxy vote will be allowed at a Grazings Committee meeting. A proxy vote is when you give someone else the legal authority to cast a vote on your behalf because you are unable to attend the meeting yourself.
Important: Before you give a proxy vote notice to your Grazings Committee chair, check with your regulations that you are able to have a proxy vote. Some Common Grazings regulations will not allow proxy voting.
There is specific wording that you must use to give notification for your proxy vote.

Note: This proxy should be handed to the Chair at the start of the meeting, detailed
