Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
Information requested
Request for any and all information pertaining to the recent resignation of the convener of the Commission, Susan Walker, including a copy of the letter, allegedly signed by five commissioners, which was reported in the Herald newspaper on 29th April.
Response
Information requested issued. However, in this instance an exemption under section 26 (information disclosed to us with the expectation that it will remain confidential) and section 30(c) (information which will otherwise prejudice the effective conduct of public business) of the Act applies to some of the information requested. Request for a review of the information issued: Outcome of the review: some additional information previously redacted now released.
