Reorganisation Schemes

The Commission have been liaising with the shareholders in Baleshare Machair about the preparation of a draft reorganisation scheme map.

In preparing a draft reorganisation scheme the Commission are required, in terms of sections 38(6)(a) and (b) of the Act to make the draft scheme and map available for inspection in a location within the township and to invite such persons as are listed in section 38(10) of the 1993 Act to intimate to the Commission in writing whether they are in favour of the draft scheme.

All parties have been notified of the draft scheme and have been invited to advise the Commission if they are in favour of the draft scheme and map in writing, in contacting christina.macinnes@crofting.gov.scot by 4 December 2023.
